Tech2CL Solutions Inc. provides IT support, cybersecurity, consulting, and training to individuals and small businesses in and around Saint-Hubert, Québec. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit our website, email us, or request our services.
Information we handle
We may collect your name, email address, telephone number, location, appointment details, description of your issue, service instructions and authorizations, technical notes, and billing information. We use this information to answer inquiries, schedule and provide services, communicate with you, and maintain necessary business records. We collect only information reasonably needed for those purposes.
Website and email
You can contact us using the form or by email. The form sends the name, message, and email address or phone number you provide to our business inbox so we can answer and arrange service. It does not use a third-party form service or set cookies. To limit abuse, the server temporarily uses your IP address to count submissions; the rate-limit records contain only timestamps under an IP-derived key and are removed after they become stale. Our web host may also process IP addresses and server or security logs to deliver and protect the site. This site does not include analytics or advertising trackers or set optional cookies. If you use an email link, your email application sends the message. Please do not submit passwords or sensitive files through either channel unless we have arranged an appropriate secure method.
When we work on your devices or systems
Authorized support can expose us to information in your files, accounts, backups, or business systems, including information about other people. We limit access to what the agreed task reasonably requires. We seek specific instructions when additional access, copying, recovery, or transfer is needed. A service authorization or business agreement may give more detail about the work and any temporary copies.
Who may access information
Only people working on your request or the related administration should access the information they need for their role. Providers of website hosting, email, or approved support tools may process necessary information for us. Their systems or personnel may be located outside Québec; applicable assessments and safeguards are required before such transfers. We may disclose information where the law requires or permits it. We do not sell personal information.
Protection and retention
We use safeguards suited to the sensitivity of the information and the work, including restricted access and secure handling of service materials. Temporary copies made for a job are kept only for the agreed service purpose and then securely deleted, unless a legal obligation or agreed follow-up requires longer. Inquiry, service, billing, and legal records are retained for the period needed for those purposes and applicable obligations, then securely deleted or destroyed. We review access, retention, and suspected privacy incidents under our internal privacy practices.
Your rights and complaints
You may ask to access or correct personal information we hold about you. Where applicable, you may request a structured, commonly used copy of computerized information collected from you, subject to legal limits. You may withdraw consent where the law allows; we will explain any effect on the requested service and records we must retain.
Send a request, question, or complaint to our Privacy Officer at with Privacy in the subject line. We may verify your identity before providing information. We investigate complaints and explain the outcome. We respond to access and correction requests within the time required by Québec law, generally 30 days. You may also contact the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.
Changes to this policy
We will post an updated version and date here when our practices change and provide any further notice required by law.
